Ball Splash
Some years we hold an event where we drop 1000+ balls into the Cober nearly a mile up the river.
Some years we drop over a thousand tennis balls into the River Cober as a sort of spherical duck race 
Each ball is sponsored and numbered and there are some great prizes (often cash!!) for the winning balls.
The real winners though are the charities that make use of the money and over the years we have made substantial donations to Dementia UK, Macmillan, Treliske Cancer Care Centre, Cornwall Air Ambulance, amongst others.

Fatima, the porcelain cow, makes an appearance every month or so at a club meeting. The "winner" from the previous month has to run a short competition to see who keeps Fatima for the following month.

Cornwall's Charity Fashion Show Challenge. A charity Fund raiser in conjunction with the Fishermen's Mission and other Rotary Charities. The challenge is to design a striking and unique outfit sourced from goods from any local charity shop.

Working with the Rotary Club of Quito Norte were applying for a Global Grant to support the education and wellbeing of street children in Quito Ecuador. Due to Covid we have scaled this back to a District Grant application.

moreUnfortunately, Covid-19 restrictions resulted in postponing the Junior Youth Speaks Competition with our local Junior Schools, but hopefully this will resume in 2024.
