Rotary Foundation District Grant - Ecuador

Working with the Rotary Club of Quito Norte were applying for a Global Grant to support the education and wellbeing of street children in Quito Ecuador. Due to Covid we have scaled this back to a District Grant application.

Fatima Fundraiser

Fatima, the porcelain cow, makes an appearance every month or so at a club meeting. The "winner" from the previous month has to run a short competition to see who keeps Fatima for the following month.

Through the last 12 months we have been running events to reach our fund raising target of £2,000 to support the Cornwall Air Ambulance.......

A visit to the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust at Newquay Airport to present our £2,000 donation and meet the crews and support teams

Golf day

The annual Charity Golf Day was a great success again. Here are a few pictures.

As part of our work in the local community we supported the construction of a raised flowerbed at the Old Cattle Market.

Ball Splash

Some years we hold an event where we drop 1000+ balls into the Cober nearly a mile up the river.

BF Adventure meeting

It was the first meeting of the month so we were out and about. This time at BF Adventure. The photos tell the story of what we did during the evening at one of the local charities we support.

These pictures show the bikes collected at Jole rider. The ones we collected were added to the collection and were sent around the country to be refurbished and sent to Africa where they will help get youngsters to school.

Big Green Balloon Race - 23 May

The Club released 500 green balloons at its Big Green Balloon Race on Saturday 23 May, in support of Shelterbox Big Green Box Week from 18 to 25 May.

Charter Celebration - 30 May

Celebration on the award of the Rotary International Charter to the new Rotary Club of Cober Valley Helston. 6.30 for 7pm, Penmorvah Manor Hotel, Budock Water, near Falmouth.
