On Mon 14th March the club hosted Video speaker Dave King lecturer and head of journalism at UCFB Wembley stadium.  
In February 2018, Dave joined Rotary Club of Elthorne-Hillingdon in Middlesex. In July 2019, he became the 42nd President of the Club
He is currently managing editor of Rotary magazine ..
Dave explained that 40K Rotary Magazines go to Rotary members and 10K are supplied to nonRotarians.He aims that the magazine should appeal to all including  polio, peace studies, environment', eradication of plastic, BLM, Covid and Rotary features are a selection of topics.    
Give an example of what Rotary does in its communities, and around the world.”
Dave talked of the twin track advantages of Print and digital social media ways of viewing the Rotary Magazine. Dave quotes
"we are gatekeepers of Rotary News"
Dave talked about  Covid and that people are volunteering more and weather Rotary can attract these people.  He spoke also about the attraction that using Facebook gives in passing the message
of Rotary to a wide audience and the value of a good club web site to give a view to potential members of te clubs activities. He urged members to share with the wider community the stories of what Rotary has achieved.
“Rotary” said Dave, “stands on the cusp of re-inventing itself, changing its outlook, and presenting an opportunity to a generation who had previously not seen Rotary as an organisation which they would want to join”.
