Following the success of a similar evening in 2015, the Club will be holding another Indian Cultural Evening featuring top class Indian Cuisine and Indian Dancing. We hope you can join us.
The evening is to raise funds for two international charities. The Yorkshire School in Sri Lanka that our Rotary District supported following the Tsunami, and the Swayamsiddh School in Aurangabad, India – a school for children with different needs.
Entertainment will be Indian classical dance performed by young, highly accomplished dancers from the North East. This form of dance is known as “BHARATNATYAM”. It is one of the oldest styles of Indian classical dance that entails intricate footwork, facial expressions, acting and storytelling through dance form. A three course Indian meal banquet will be provided by a renowned caterer from Newcastle. This will be followed by Indian Folk and Bollywood dance. There will be a Raffle and bar facilities will be available.
We hope your Club will be able to support this event by bringing a party.
Tickets are £25 and are available by contacting Rtn Sandhya Nadgir on 01609 775716. Cheques payable to The Rotary Club of Northallerton Mowbray.
