Rotary goes wild!
Hythe & Waterside Rotary give grateful thanks to The New Forest Wildlife Park for allowing them to have a stand for the day, enabling them to interact with the public and provide fun for the children visiting the park.
Activities held included a treasure hunt, guess the name of the baby monkey and a colouring competition to be judged in September by Simon Chadwick, a local author and illustrator who designed a picture featuring many of the animals that can be seen at the park for children to colour in. There will be two gift voucher prizes - one for under 7-year-olds and one for 8 to 12-year-olds.
There was also a raffle to win a very kindly donated family ticket for the NFWP. Thanks also go to Simon for supporting H&W Rotary and to Lidl, Hythe who provided sweets for the children.
A great day was had by all.
