An update regarding the ongoing project in Tanzania by our friends at The Mud House Children’s Foundation.
COVID-19
At the beginning of March, Hannah and I had an extremely successful trip to Wasso with five volunteers and sponsors. Unfortunately this was cut short due to the Corona virus outbreak. The children were all doing fantastically well in school and the hostel, but like with the rest of the world they are now currently in lock down in their villages until further notice.
Before we were called home to England, we gave the children and staff information about Covid-19 and advice on how to stay safe. The children passed this information on to their families and because of extremely generous donations and your continued support, we have been able to provide food, soap, buckets with taps and medical supplies to enable the Maasai community to stay in their villages for as long as is needed. They are taking this situation very seriously and so far everyone has stayed in good health and we hope this will continue.
