DetailsTeabag stands for The Education and Book Appeal for Ghana, which provides equipment, books, and educational facilities to three villages in Ghana
DetailsProjects is at the heart of what we do, and we are looking for local projects that support our local schools and local charities, in Alton and surrounding villages, Rotary can organise grants for worthy projects by filling in our grant application form.
We support many local charities, youth programmes, local school activities, as well as national and international projects.
How we get together:
Project planning meetings 2nd Thursdays 18:00 for an 18:30 start - venue flexible at member's house or the French Horn Pub, 3 Whitedown Lane, Alton, GU34 1LX venue advised by email and WhatsApp, optional two course food such as fish and chips, burgers etc., special dietary requirements catered for.
4th Thursdays Social & Speaker 19:00 for 19:30 optional two course meal French Horn Pub, 3 Whitedown Lane, Alton, GU34 1LX again special dietary requirements catered for.
5th Thursdays practical project development such as project preparation construction and painting or social evening TBA, food appropriate to activity.
Meeting food bookings done online by a link to Framadatate a copy of which is given to the caterer.
