On Friday the 25th October we held a highly successful Music and Magic evening at Chartridge Park Golf Club. The event was the brainchild of Rtn. Andy Garnett and through him we invited Ms Emily Yarrow and Marc Oberon to entertain us at the dinner. Emily is a professional singer and, in addition to assisting Marc with his Magic, sang songs from many well-known shows. Marc is an accomplished magician, and he amazed the audience of about 50 diners with his magic. I hesitate to use the word tricks because Marc’s magic is on another level from mere tricks. The evening was held in support of the charity Shelterbox and, through the generosity of those attending the event, we were able to donate £2000 to this worthy charity. Our thanks go the Emily and Marc for their polished performances, the generosity of those attending the event and Andy for taking the lead in the organisation.

President
Marc is a former World Champion and European Champion in magic and England's most awarded magician of all time. He tours all over the world with his award-winning show and headlines several of the world's most prestigious cruise ships.
Emily is a classical singer and actress who has performed extensively nationally and internationally in opera, musical theatre, concerts, functions and events. She also enjoys recording vocals for commercials, radio and feature film soundtracks, and headlines on many of the luxury cruise lines world wide.
Marc and Emily have developed a sensational double act that is perfect for any event. Introducing Emily, the woman who sees without using her eyes. A bystander blindfolds Emily and ensures that she is not using any hidden electronic aids. Nevertheless, she is able to sense what possessions people in the room have in their pockets, what they have in their wallets, and even what they are thinking about. Mysterious and almost creepy! An interactive, intriguing and engaging experience that includes everyone in the room. Bring along your objects, from the mundane to the wierd for a mystifying evening to remember.
