Supported by "Friends of Rotary" and gueats. an excellent selection of Indian cuisine was provided by the Ali Taj restaurant.
During a fun purple themed evening, the event organiser Rtn. Gill Hamilton, ably assisted by her family, ran a series of money generating activities including, Heads and Tails, a Purple Quiz, closest to the whisky bottle and a generous raffle.
Overall, £430 was raised which, with the assistance of the Gates Foundation, this sum would be raised to approximately £1290.
President Neil thanksed both his organising team and the attendees for their generous support in the on-going fight to eradicate Polio worldwide.
