Following a recent charity Sunday lunch the Club was able to make a donation of over £2,000 to East Cheshire Hospice. Over recent years the Club has donated in excess of £25,000 to the Hospice.
The lunch held in October was prepared by Janet Dallimore, the wife of Rotarian Rick Dallimore and served at the Jubilee Hall in Knutsford, where it was enjoyed by over 40 people. A raffle raised a further amount towards the sum raised of over £2000.
Emma Bate from the Hospice told the guests more about the work of the Hospice and thanked the Club for all the donations it has made.
The cheque was formally presented by Club President John Savage, to two of the nurses working at the Hospice on 27th November . Also there were John's wife Hilary and Janet and RIck Dallimore.
