Walk for Water - 2024 - Raised 30.000 Euro - Water for 500 children

We raised 30.000 Euro in 2024 with the motto "Will you walk so they don't have to?" A new well has been drilled and water is flowing in a small village in Kenia so that 500 children and adults have for the first time flowing and clean water.

Where is your help needed?

The 1000 strong community in Olmapinu in Kenya, including 400 school-age children, are forced to walk up to four kilometers each day to get clean – and very expensive – water from a private well.

The Rotary club of Dublin Central working with our partners in Kenya ensure that 100% of the funds raised go directly to the cause.

We will drill a new well and get free, clean water to the village and the school.

How do I “Walk for Water”?

Walk 100 km “your way”:

  •          Walk with friends or on your own
  •     Walk 3.2 kms every day, 25 kms every weekend or any combination of kilometers to get  to 100 km by the end of January

How can I contribute?
