Duncan Nimmo was our guest speaker on Tuesday
night. Duncan spoke on his progress towards the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. Howe of Fife Rotary Club had provided him with financial support for the residential part of this programme at Newtonmore.
His path to gold had encompassed a wide range of physical activities including hill walking, rafting and gorge descending. Critical to his success had been periods of rugby coaching as well as a cub leader with Freuchie cubs. Duncan came across as a really impressive young man and a worthy recipitent of the club's support.
