Ten schools representing Rotary Clubs in Rotary Area 6 (Dundee and East Fife) took part in a hard-fought Area Final at Morgan Academy. The questions were a little harder than in the first round, but all teams scored well. The team from Freuchie Primary School were not on quite as good form as when they swept the board earlier this year in the Village Hall Strathmiglo, but they finished in the middle of the field scoring a creditable 95 out of a possible 120 points.
The winners were Eastern Primary School, Broughty Ferry, who failed to answer just four out of the 60 questions correctly. Fife's hopes are being kept alive by the runners-up from Wormit, as both they and the pupils from Broughty Ferry will compete in the District Final in Aberdeen next month.
