Our new website

The presentation  of the Club's new showcase did not go as planned, because our webmaster was unable to obtain a stable internet connection in the Village Inn. Nothing daunted, Sandy Davis resorted to a PowerPoint recording in which members were led - albeit at what was probably something of a gallop for the neophytes - into every nook and cranny of this powerful vehicle.

Those members who had done little more than dip a toe in at the edge were surprised at the amount of information available and perhaps a little sceptical that putting it together took little or no computer knowledge. They were assured that this was due entirely to the expertise of Chris Sweeney of the Rotary Club of Conwy who devised the system.

Sandy acknowledged that much of what is on our website is there for the benefit of Rotarians in other clubs or for Mr Joe Public. But he also pointed out some of the advantages for our own members if they used the system regularly, especially if they logged in.
