Lilly giving her presentation.
"On Monday 25th Sept Lilly gave a powerpoint presentation about her attendance, aged 16, at the 25th World Scout Jamboree held in South Korea in 2023.
eThis was an interesting and informative account of her experiences. It included the process of selection, preparation and the activities of the Jamboree itself. Lilly also explained the challenges and complications of her enforced longer stay in Soel.
The presentation was delivered in an entertaining way and enjoyed by all."
(Peter Waite-Wright)
Lilly took questions from the Rotarians and was thanked by acting President Mary for her talk.

Batley Food Bank and Birstall Community Partnerships update
.jpg)
At a recent club meeting we were pleased to welcome representatives from both Batley Food Bank and Birstall Community Partnership - Food share. Both groups gave our members details of how they work within the communities of Batley and Birstall. Although the Food bank and Food share work in different ways, they both provide a vital service for those in need of support in our area.
We were delighted to be able to donate £500 to each organisation from the monies collected at Tesco Batley during December.
