Rotary Club of Birstall Luddites
Friends of Birstall Luddites introduction evening,
with Peace Scholar speakers.

Luddites and partners joined with potential Friends of Birstall Luddites for a social
evening with meat pie supper and Peace Scholar speakers.
President Steve inspired the evening in an attempt to gather all the helpers the club have and ask them to become "Friends" of the club whilst enjoying a social evening . Steve took the opportunity to explain what our Rotary club does and explain what the Friends role would be.
Steve hopes in the long run is that that the Friends may become full members of Birstall Luddites.

President Steve then asked Rotarian Keith to introduce the two speakers from the
University of Bradford Rotary Peace Fellows.

Keith briefly explained about his role with the Rotary Peace Scholars. This being Keiths second 3 year Peace Scholars role  where he looks after the students needs whilst they stay in Bradford.
