Rotary Club of Birstall Luddites
Christmas Party 2022.

On Saturday 10th Dec Rotarians and friends gathered to enjoy the clubs annual Christmas Party
this year being held at Batley Community Center.
The event started many many years ago by Rotarian Jeremys father Raymond, then a Batley Rotarian.
The event has now been established into a Birstall Luddites event, being very close to Jeremy's family links.

On a freezing evening at 7pm 51 Rotarins and friends gathered to find the community hall
in a very Christmas setting, tables laid out and a buffet meal all ready. All put together by Jeremy and Carol and their helpers.

The meal was amazing, Carol had put together a beautiful selection of foods and through the evening all enjoyed the meal with seconds very popular and onto lovely puddings
What a feast well done Carol.
After 9pm the Emley Brass Band set up on the stage and played carols as requested by each table in turn.

This finished with the rousing 12 days of Christmas each table taking their turn to sing.
Jeremy thanked the Brass Band and introduced
President Steve who thanked Jeremy and Carol for making a very enjoyable Christmas Party.
He thanked Paul for help with the Raffle which made £183 for Charity.
