The Birstall Luddites Annual Seat of Knowledge Quiz resumed on Monday May 16 at the
Batley Community centre. Around 40 Rotarians and friends with Rotary Clubs from Ossett and Horbury, Ossett, and Cleckheaton joined Luddites for the Quiz. A pie and pea meal started the evening and was then followed by the quiz, the questions being set expertly by Oliver Tiplady. The winning team was the 7 Musketeers who came first with a score of 129 and Rotarian David is pictured below receiving the trophy on behalf of his team from President Elect Steve who compared the evening. |
