Rotary Club of Birstall Luddites
Santa street collections 2021 |
2021 restarts Birstall Luddites Santa street collections. The first outing for Santa was the Birstall lights switch on. This attracted a very large family gathering where Santa and Mrs Santa walked amongst the families having photos.
Street collections followed Hillhead Drive then Moat Hill where Santa stopped on Beach Grove for mulled wine and mince pies. see photos.Woodlands and Almond followed leading to Greenacres on a very wet night. St Thomas finished the street rounds with a christingle service. |
Onwards to Tesco where Santa and Sleigh were in position to greet shoppers and families in the run up to Christmas celebrations.
Big thanks to the Santa team Ian has organised the whole effort , engineer Bill looking after the sleigh and with Robert having two days at Fairfield School. Thanks to all the Santas and bucket helpers from the club and near Rotary clubs and Birstall in Bloomers. |
