Birstall Luddites held their 32nd Charter using Zoom . DGE Stephen Ellis represented District 1040 |

The charter followed a unique agenda with President Margaret welcoming

| President Margaret welcomed Rotarians to the 2020 very unique Zoom Charter
following Margaret, Sargent at Arms Gerry gave the 4 way Rotary test.Then Jeremy reminded us of the Object of Rotary leading to Imm Past Pres Keith reading the Rotary Charter. Vice President Steve Gooder gave the roll call which included Rotarians from 6 Inner 9 clibs plus the DGE and guest speaker from York Ainsty Martin Simpson. |

| President Margaret gave the response and toast to RI and RIBI, Margaret talked of the Covid year with the club doing no fundraising but through Zoom meetings the club was doing its best the carry on .
Guest speaker Martin Simpson was introduced . Martin was the clubs first President when the club was invested on 10th Oct 1988. Martin gave his usual top class speech . Founder member Rotarian John Keen gave a vote of thanks with the Final Toast " Rotary and Peace the world over". |
