Christmas 2017

Christmas started early for Luddites, the Christmas party was held at Healds Hall on the last club meeting in 2017 on Monday 27th Nov. The day after saw Birstall lights switch on with Ian and Mr & Mrs Santa arriving in the market place.
Then Ian with teams of Luddites visited the streets of Howden Clough and Birstall. Santa visited Fairfield special school Ian took Santa to a Birstall street party and local Birstall school visits.
Santa Sleigh rounds finishing at St Thomas Church, with an all day collection at Tesco the Tuesday before Christmas..

Thanks to Santas Bill, John K and Robert and John B with Mrs Santa Joanna. Big thanks to Ian for his tireless outings with Santa. President Helen and Paul for the Club party and Jeremy for his organising a very well received lunch at Cleckhean golf club where we had a good meal and relaxing lunch on a very cold snowy day. Not forgetting all Santas hard working helpers on some very cold evenings.
Big thanks to Sleigh Engineer Bill for his new lighting and batteries
and project manager Sleigh driver Ian.
