Interact

We support three active and successful Interact clubs in local secondary schools - The Bishop's Stortford High School, Hertfordshire & Essex High School and The Hockerill Anglo European College.  

Interact is a fun and lively organisation offering young people aged 12-18 opportunities to broaden their horizons, make new friends and help the lives of others. Interact clubs are run by their members with support from a teacher and with help and advice from the Rotary Club. For our Interact clubs there is always a member of the Rotary Club at their weekly meetings.

The Interact clubs raise funds and provide practical help for charities and others in the community. Each year they choose which community organisations to support and come up with great ideas for activities for fundraising. Summer fetes, dance marathons, music productions, pancake sales and Christmas bag packing at supermarkets are just a few of the activities that they have planned and organised in recent years.
