Dear Rotarians
On behalf of everyone at Nottingham Hospitals Charity, I’m writing to say a massive THANK YOU for volunteering at our World Record attempt in aid of Nottingham Children’s Hospital on Bank Holiday Monday. The event was a fabulous success, raising lots of money for Nottingham Children’s Hospital's Big Appeal and giving us an awesome opportunity to meet so many of our supporters. Thank you for helping to make it a day that we won't forget. I’ve attached a certificate, which outlines the important role that you played in the World Record Attempt. It was an extremely hot afternoon, and we’re really grateful for your patience as we counted, verified, and handed wristbands to over 1,000 people. The high temperature (which reached 28 degrees in the World Record Attempt Area!) meant that sadly not every Robin Hood was able to join the official Guinness count and so the Attempt fell just short of breaking the World Record. We still had a fantastic day, and have had great feedback from so many guests about how much they enjoyed themselves and about how great our volunteers were.
Best wishes
