Rosslyn Park School - 2018

.

On Wednesday 7th of March 2018 , Mandy Lau, Attendance Officer at Rosslyn Park School, gave a very interesting , and in the end, emotional talkabout the problems of attendance at the the school.

The school serves an area in which many underprivilged familys live, and Mandy has the task  of ensuring that as many children attend the school daily.

She said that she often has to collect children from their homes because the parents are unable to take them to school even though the children are dressed and ready to go.

The school gives prizes to encourage attendance largely funded by Wollaton Park Rotary club.

Mandy was presented with a cheque for £250
