Rice Cooker for Windrush
Today we will be presenting Windrush with a 23-litre capacity rice cooker. Windrush provides over 100 weekly meals to deprived families in Gloucester. It is run by volunteers with little income. All the help they receive is much appreciated

Mariners opened in Feb 1849 primarily for the workers at Gloucester Docks and crews of moored vessels. With the demise of Gloucester as a major port, the church was in danger of becoming redundant. Regeneration of the docks has provided new opportunities

Tonight’s treasure hunt took us across Alney Island Nature reserves. Additional points were available for wildlife photographs. The star photograph being a frog. Interesting clues were based around the docks, the Oxbode and Gloucester cathedral

This year Bob Coles organised our traditional president's lunch at the Cheltenham Chase Hotel. It was a very enjoyable social occasion with pre-lunch champagne followed by a three course Sunday lunch. A great start to Bob's presidential year.
