.....Service to the local community

Community Service is the Club's link with the local community. Emphasis is placed on links within the immediate Chislehurst area, where substantial efforts and contributions are made to help local charities and to undertake projects to help those in need.


 

Chislehurst Rotary is committed to supporting local charities but obviously due to Covid our funds are much reduced.  We plan to hold the senior citizens party again next year and we are hoping to embark on a project to combat loneliness. 

We hope to continue to support “ bikes for schools “  and are exploring the possibility of supporting RotaKids which encourages young people to participate in the community.

more We organise and run parties and outings for senior citizens including collecting them, transporting them to the party and taking them safely home afterwards

more We support and organise outings for local children and we put together and donate dozens of Christmas parcels for needy local children.
