Local shoppers did us proud!

Despite the economic squeeze facing most of us at the moment, local shoppers at Holbury Co-op and Dibden Tesco pulled out all the stops and enabled Hythe & Waterside Rotary to collect a grand total of £1,618.62 for this year's Christmas Collection.

Rotary Santa and his little helpers were warmly greeted at both stores and the added bonus of a card machine for those who no longer carry cash resulted in amazing generosity from local people.

H&W Rotary President David Saunders said "We cannot thank people enough for donating to us again this year.  As always, the money raised will be used to support local charities and good causes."
