H&W Rotary is supporting humanitarian relief in Ukraine

All contributions to Rotary appeals are sent to other appropriate Rotary Clubs for distribution.
Unlike many charities 100% of your donation will be received by the people that need it. Rotary Clubs exist across Ukraine and neighbouring countries (e.g. Poland). The money will be spent by the Rotary Clubs on local people in need.
THERE ARE NO ADMINISTRATION COSTS!
Hythe & Waterside Rotary is delighted to report that Rotary District has agreed to donate US$10,000 from District Designated Funds to the Rotary Disaster Response Fund of Rotary International. This Fund will be used to support grant applications of up to US$50,000 from Districts in Ukraine and areas bordering Ukraine to enable them to give aid to refugees or other people caught up in the conflict by providing water, food, shelter, medicine and clothing. In addition, other Rotary Districts impacted by the disaster wishing to offer support to Ukrainian refugees in their District can apply for grants up to US$25,000.
H&W Rotary President, Ray Lewis, says “We are staunch supporters of Rotary Foundation, and we fully support the District initiative to help people caught up in the largest humanitarian crisis since WW2. We have local campaigns running now for donations from the Hythe & Waterside community and we thank all those who have generously donated so far.”
