Sandra's Baby Clothes Project Closes

Sandra Davy, who has been the local driving force behind the scheme to send clothes, shoes and soft toys to children’s hospitals in Romania and Moldova, has been informed that Elizabeth Tatman who started the project has died, as has her husband. The fam


Sandra said ‘I am sorry the project has closed but Rotary had a wonderful response  over the years from many sources in the surrounding area, with the value of the items sent being estimated at £750,000 to £1,000,000’.

Rotary Monmouth would like to thank all those who donated items, knitted clothing and made special bears for the project.
