Since the full scale invasion in February 2022 Rotary Monmouth has been supporting the Ukraine in various ways

Walk the Wye -- Sunday 11th May 2025

"Walk The Wye" is an annual sponsored walk, centred on Monmouth in the Wye valley. Another successful walk with over £6500 raised so far

The Flower wall project is supported by Monmouth Town Council allowing Rotary Monmouth Community Champions to continue to plant seasonal flowers

Rotary Monmouth Community Champions

Monmouth Green Wall replanted for the winter. The flowers covering the walls of the Blestium Street toilet block in Monnow Street Monmouth, have been giving pleasure to residents and visitors for over 5 years.

The River Wye - Meeting Nov 25th 2022

The evening was organised in partnership with the Friends of the Lower Wye Presentations made on the evening - not for public circulation and subsequent documents of interest

Girls’ Study Hall equipped in India

Hope community Village in Kerala offers long term family care to children who have lost care in their own families. Monmouth Rotary provided equipment for the hall.

Charity walk in favour of In the Pink Breast Cancer charity. Presentation of cheque for £10,000 at club Charter Evening 2011 by Rotarian Norman Williams

Senior Citizens Party at Bridges

Over 100 guests enjoyed tea followed by sketches from the Off Centre Theatre at Bridges Community Centre.

Open Evening

The Open Evening held at the Royal Oak public house, Hereford Road, Monmouth NP25 3GA. The evening started at 18:30. Our guest speaker,Tim Williams, shown in the picture, spoke about his Dragons Den experience.

2011 Raft race

54 rafts entered the water out of 58 entries. Proceeds split 75% to St David's Hospice and 25% to other Rotary supported charities.

Monmouth Carnival 2011
