Activius - Rotary Active Family Fun Day

This is a ‘Free’ to enter event hosted by Cirencester Kingshill School on Saturday 10th September between 11am and 4 pm. This event represents a major initiative on our part to encourage young people to be more active by trying new sports.

The members of Cirencester Rotary Club are shocked and saddened by the loss of our great Queen Elizabeth and send sincere condolences to the Royal Family. She was much loved and respected around the world.

We also want to help those for whom finance is a barrier by offering bursaries for Club memberships/equipment. We already have secured funding to support bursary applications but we would welcome donations to enable us to support as many underprivileged children and young persons as possible and to give the Scheme longevity. Cirencester Rotary Club’s annual car treasure hunt attracted a healthy contingent of competitive souls who set out from the Royal Agricultural University aiming to reach the correct destination for their evening meal by decoding the clues provided.

Following years of planning, two postponements due to Covid and the sudden passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the difficult decision was made to go ahead with the event as planned and hold a two minute silence in her honour at 1pm.
