The Polio Endgame Strategy 2019-2023 was developed to capitalise on the new opportunities available to us following the success of the eradication of polio in India and the advancement of medical science and knowledge; so that we can put an end to this terrible, yet preventable disease.

If you would like to learn more about eradicating polio then visit www.polioeradication.org, which provides all the information you need to keep yourself informed of the latest news, data and outbreaks.

Rotary International initiated the campaign to eradicate polio much earlier however in the Philippines in 1979 and globally with the launch of PolioPlus in 1985. Rotarians in District 1100 have given generously throughout this time donating over $1M since 1988. Rotary's involvement can also be viewed at www.endpolio.org
