Young Photographer

You do not need a clever camera to enter - mobile phones and tablets will work successfully too. Rotary have won this popular competition for many years and it's a lot of fun.

Winner 2022

Young Photographer Competition (run by our Berkhamsted Club)

- a free to enter, Dacorum-wide event for young people between the ages of 7 and 17.

This year's theme was The Beauty of Architecture and the many entries were of a high standard.

Photographs are judged in categories based on age.

Three winners were awarded prizes of £100 and an engraved plate; all entrants reeive a certificate of achievement as a Winner, Highly Commended, Commended or Participant.

The winners were entered into the District (Herts/Beds/Bucks) heat.  Two became District Winners in their age group (Mouna and Josh) and went on to National Finals. 

JOSH was announced as Rotary GB&NI National Intermediate WINNER!

Josh - 11-13 age group - "Reflecting on Architecture" - NATIONAL WINNER


Mouna - 7-10 age gropup - "Sagrada Familia" - DISTRICT WINNER

Sam - 14 - 17 age group - "Lloyds Building" - DISTRICT RUNNER UP
