Tools Collection for Africa

Periodically we arrange to collect unwanted tools from local people. These tools are then sent for refurbishment before being distributed to Africa.

We have held a number of tools collections where we ask the local public to donate old tools that are loitering in their sheds and elsewhere.

Once collected the tools are sent to Workaid where volunteers give them a new lease of life.

From there they are sent to Africa where tools and starter kits are used for training and the creation of employment opportunities for young people, helping them escape poverty and promote sustainablity.
