Helping to improve the local environment in conjunction with Oadby & Wigston Borough Council and Pride of the Borough.
For many years our Club has been involved in projects to improve the local environment in conjunction with Oadby and Wigston Borough Council and Pride of the Borough. These include tree planting, litter picking, bulb planting on roadside verges and in parks and we have our own planter on the Parade in Oadby.
Our current project organised by Impact Oadby and Wigston is a tidy up operation of a small plot of land on the corner of Garden Close and Wigston Road in Oadby. We have spent one Saturday morning there (see picture above) and will be back again soon to finish off.
