There is enjoyment to be had from all our Rotary activities, whether it is doing voluntary work in our local community or organising and taking part in one of our main fundraising events.
However on top of that we have a lot of social events to encourage members to meet regularly.
- lunch meetings every Thursday at Glen Gorse Golf Club, some with speakers (Rotary Club of Oadby)
- evening business meetings on the first and third Thursday of the month at a local pub, followed by a meal for those who wish to stay on (Impact Oadby & Wigston)
- visits or other social gatherings. Recent examples incude a skittles evening, a Quiz Night and a daytime trip to the British Motor Museum.
- the annual croquet competition.
- fundraising evening meals at local restaurants.
