The fundraising events that help support Club projects and local charities
Alongside voluntary service in the community, fundraising events are an integral part of our Club’s activities.
These events support our international projects (see around the world), and in our own community they support many local charities and enable us to run our Memory Café and Youth projects.
Our main annual events are:
Swimarathon at Parkland Leisure Centre in March / April. Sponsored teams of swimmers raise money for local charities and community groups and also one of our international projects.
Christmas collections outside ASDA and Sainsbury’s specifically for local children’s charities.
There are also many other events during the course of the year which help support all our activities.
