'Heart of Gold Rose Garden' at MacRosty Park

Four volunteer Rotarians (Callum MacLeod, Jim McConnell, Bob Milne and Frank Strang) came out to renovate this garden, first donated to MacRosty Park in 2005.

After refreshments at the Pavillion Cafe, the team worked on weeding, dead-heading the roses and adding rose pellets around the roots. The original Rotary plaque was renewed with a fresh, clean version. All the work was completed in just 25 minutes.
Just over a week earlier, our Guest Speaker on 14 August (Helen Schofield) had nobly started the tidy up and had proceeded very well until stopped by heavy rain. We thank her for this remarkably kind contribution.

Bike Ride fundraiser for Prostate Cancer
