The Rotary Club of Ellon is fundraising for a Global Grant to assist with education in Rural Nepal.  The International partners are Mid Town Kathmandu and First Steps Himalaya. The grant is for around $47,434, with Ellon and other clubs contribution being around £13,821.   The Club currently has raised £5,750 (early July 2018) and hope to start the GG in the autumn.

Most importantly,. the First Steps Himalaya charity urgently needs help from carpenters, welders, primary and early childhood teachers!  FSH is now taking applications for volunteers for the following periods: October 10th to November 8th 2018 and March 10th to May 14th 2019.
Please contact FSH for more details: admin@firststepshimalaya.org

The Rotary Club of Crieff was pleased to contribute £250 towards RC Ellon's Global Grant application and a cheque for this amount was despatched to Hilary Gordon, being received by her on 19th July 2018.
