Young Musician Competition 2018
It is that time of year again and the Club is looking forward to holding its Young Musician Competition in November.
During November 2018 Crieff Rotary Club will be delighted once again to hold its Young Musician Competition - for the 14th time of asking - its first having been held in 1991.
The Competition is split into four sections allowing pupils of all standards to compete against each other:
Primary (Grades1/2)
Intermediate (Grades 3/4)
Advanced (Grades 5/6)
Open (Grades 7/8).
The winner of the Open section will be awarded the 'Young Musician of the Year' trophy and put forward by Crieff Rotary Club to compete in the Rotary District 1010 Young Musician Competition Final.
The winners and runners-up on the day, with their accompanists, will be invited to perform once again in an Evening Concert at a Rotary Club Meeting (date and venue still to be arranged). These provisional arrangements will depend upon the number of entrants in each section, and final arrangements will be notified once the programme has been drawn up.
