WINE TASTING with Cordorniu

Tue, Nov 17th 2015 at 12:00 am - 12:00 am

A thoroughly enjoyable evening for all members and guests

It was unfortunate that a number of members were unable to attend the evening's event.  However, those able to attend and their guests had an extremely enjoyable evening.

After the usual excellent meal from Yann's, Simon Harrison introduced the evening's programme and timed his introduction to perfection as the Cordorniu Sommelier (who had travelled up from Chester) just arrived after his train journey earlier in the day had been delayed.

Members and Guests were then treated to a very interesting presentation with detailed explanations as to the background of all of the selection of fine wines ranging from sparkling white and rose, white and red to pudding wine.

Suitably imbibed everyone then headed off home - if only the evening could have gone on a little longer.

Another wine tasting evening please!
