Annual Competition held by the Club for local primary school children.
Primary Schools Quiz 2011
Crieff Rotarians were delighted for this year's event to be able to use the superb facilities at Crieff Community Campus for their annual Primary Schools Quiz. Five of the local schools were able to take part this year and they were supported by many parents and friends who provided a wonderful atmosphere for the competitors, even although they found the questions more difficult than their children!
After ten rounds of questions on such varied subjects as Geography, Sport and Spelling the winners were announced:
1st Place: Morrison's Academy
2nd Place: Crieff Primary
3rd Place: Muthill Primary.
The winners received the Ross, Bell & Co. IFA trophy.
Morrison's Academy, having won the Club Competition in Crieff, went on to compete in Rotary's Zone Final which took place at Glenearn Campus, Perth. There they finished in second place which qualified them to go forward to Rotary's District Final in Old Meldrum. There they finished in a very creditable third place.
