Details of the District Young Musician for which the Club sponsored a participant
Strathallan School - Saturday, 19th February 2011
Crieff Club were delighted to be able to put the Club's Young Musician winner, Hannah Lauchlan through to the District Final.
The Competition, held in the Music Room at Strathallan School (an excellent venue), was well represented - particularly by Clubs from the North - and all the competitors were of an extremely high standard making life very difficult for the adjudicators. Prior to announcing the winners the adjudicators made the very valid point that there were no losers even though they had to choose two winners, one instrumental and one vocal. Unfortunately for Crieff Club, Hannah didn't win through. However, she equitted herself very well indeed. The photo below show all of the competitors who participated on the day.
