Annual fundraising for Charity Golf Day

ROTARY CHARITY FUNDRAISING GOLF DAY 13 AUGUST 2026 at Crieff Golf Club

The Club's annual charity fundraiser Golf Day took place at Crieff Golf Club last Thursday when we were blessed with good weather for the event. A total of 19 teams participated and had the pleasure of playing an immaculate conditioned golf course, due to the excellent work of the Greenkeeper and his staff, and enjoying excellent fayre and service from the clubhouse catering and bar staff. Assistance was also provided by Allan Knox, Golf Professional his team and from Club officials to see things run smoothly as regards prizes and scoring. Thanks must also go to a number of local businesses who contributed monies by way of sponsorship of holes during the course of the event.

As usual competition was tough with a number of teams recording similar scores. However, there were a couple of teams who managed to score just a few shots better and the overall result was previous winners, Team Watson coming in as Runners-up with the Winners being Team Lindsays recording the lowest score (52) on the day.

Attached are a number of photos giving a flavour of the day and showing some of the prize winners along with the Runners-up and Winners.

The end result for the day was a sum of £2,223.53!!!!!

Thanks again to all of those involved in the event.
