Rotary Competitions for Young Writers and Artists

Recognising young talent

We have recently been involved with our local primary schools judging Rotary Young Writer and Young Artist Competition entries.

Wow, what a brilliant year! The standard of English from the Young Writers seems to have taken a jump, with so many young people submitting really wonderful pieces of writing. Our local Young Artists are also providing excellent work, and even from some very young artists, aged 5,6 and 7yrs old.

What wonderful teachers they have, to encourage so much creativity in Writing and Art.

We so enjoyed looking at the work of young artists, and this display of work from Thrupp School showcasing the theme of "Happiness in Nature" is so uplifting - and this is just a small sample of those submitted.

Thank you to the Primary Schools in Amberley, Brimscombe, Woodchester and Thrupp, and we love working with you.
