Rotary's Big Space Cancer Appeal

Help to transform facilities at our region's Oncology Centre leading to improved cancer care

Cancer touches us all, with a predicted 40% increase in the UK by 2035. Already, 100 new patients each week from across our District are diagnosed through the Regional Centre in Cheltenham. Let's help to make this an easier experience by ensuring great holistic support, and better mental health for patients and their families

Our collective goal is to raise just over £100,000 over the next two years, potentially swelling to £300,000 by Rotary multiplying individual donations by 180% through a Rotary Foundation Grant. We have already raised over £42,000 which is a good start.

This Rotary-led project is running in parallel with Gloucestershire Hospitals' Big Space Appeal, with regular communication and cooperation between the two teams.

Our timing has been planned so that the culmination of our fundraising and readiness to make purchases coincides with the point when the new building is ready, and priority then switches to internal decoration, staff preparation and planting in the new garden. This is currently projected to be in early 2026.

Whether you are part of a Company, a member of a Club or Charitable Organisation, or acting as an individual there are many ways you can help! We are already working with 14 partner organisations on this appeal.
