Old Man and His Bike - Lands End to John O'Groats - Epilogue

The morning after ....

After an epic two weeks, Frank is now back home. He arrived late last night to a house and driveway covered in fabulous bunting to celebrate his return. We popped by this morning to check on him, and he is doing very well. Tired out, and somewhat lighter than when he left, but in fabulous spirits (‘in’, not ‘drinking’, apparently)! The trusty bike will return in a few days time, and we are pleased to report it is fixable, so in happy news it will be keeping Frank company for hopefully a good few more years to come.

You’ll see from the photos he has come away with a fabulous challenge medal, and more importantly (though that might just be our opinion, but seeing as we are in charge of the updates we’ll go with it) he has also been presented with all the breakfast items he missed out on in the last 14 days, which we dutifully ate to cheer him on. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, we’re nothing if not supportive.

The fundraising has gone beyond what Frank could have hoped, thank you so much, each and every one of you, you have been amazing cheering alongside us, and it’s so hugely appreciated by the charities and of course by Frank. We reckon it really did make him go faster you know, and if we could send you all 14 days worth of celebratory breakfasts, we absolutely would.

On to the next adventure, we’ll let Frank decide what that will be. Maybe he’ll look in to that modelling contract we found…….
