Rotary members and clubs across the world support ShelterBox in a variety of ways, from raising awareness and funds to providing practical assistance on the ground during ShelterBox’s response to a disaster.This enables ShelterBox to work more effectively and reach more communities around the world.  

By working together with Rotary, ShelterBox is able to collaborate and combine resources to ensure that it can support more communities in desperate need of shelter after a disaster.

ShelterBox is responding in Venezuela and is working with local partners, including Rotary members, to carry out rapid needs assessments and understand how best to support communities. 

Based on ShelterBox's experience of responding to large earthquakes, items such as solar lights, blankets, sleeping mats and shelter kits are often required. 

ShelterBox has been strengthening preparedness and building partnerships in the region in recent months, and has aid pre-positioned in Barbados and Panama, ready for emergencies like this.
