President's Evening - with a difference

President Andrew tried out a Freewheeler's Blood Bike for size at this evening event to recognise his (Rotary) year as president of the club which finishes on June 30th. Freewheelers was one of several organisations to receive cheques from the club's charitable trust that night.

During the evening cheques were handed  over to the following people representing their organsiations:

Jeanne Hutton from the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance,

Julian Barefoot from Free wheelers. 

Rachel Webster from Clic Sargent

Karen Deverill from the YMCA

Roger Hatherill from the Memorial Theatre.

Also in attendance along with club members and their spouses/guests were the Immediate past Mayor of Frome, Toby Elliot, and the newly elected Mayor Sheila Gore.

Justin Sargent of Somerset Community Foundation was also present, the Foundation is the source of the winter fuel payments monies that we distribute on their behalf to those elderly in most need.
