We have around 50 teams competing and we would ask you to allow time prior to playing for registration etc. Please plan to register no later than 20 minutes before your allocated tee time.
Refreshments can be purchased in the club house before your round.
There are prizes for the top 5 teams plus individual Ladies & Gents prizes. The best individual score gets the trophy. Additionally, there are prizes for the first 3 teams in a Yellow Ball competition, as well as 2’s competition for individuals. All of these are included in your entry.
There are also some great prizes to be won in the competitors-only raffle with tickets @ £10 available to all participants.
A two course meal will be provided in the club house after your game and you will be asked to select your choice at registration. Dietary requirements should be advised ASAP and again noted at registration.
The Competitions on the Day
Team competition (best two Stableford scores to count on each hole) - top five teams win prizes
Best individual Gents and best individual Ladies Stableford Score (with the best of these two scores to also receive the Am-Am trophy)
Yellow ball competition (best Stableford score, each player plays a hole in rotation from lowest competition to highest competition handicap; yellow ball must be played and returned to win the prize) - top three teams win prizes
A gross 2 scored on any hole will receive a sleeve of 3 golf balls.
There are 5 ‘Nearest The Pin’ prizes on the par 3’s
Competition Rules
Gents play from yellow tees and ladies from the red tees.
All competitors should have a current WHS handicap index and should advise their CDH number ASAP and no later than a week before the day of the Am-Am..
Competition handicaps will be calculated as per SG guidelines and recorded on the competition scorecard. You should use your competition handicap to determine the number of strokes you receive.
The competitions will be conducted in accordance with the current R&A Rules of Golf. Please check and comply with local rules for Dunblane New Golf Club on the standard DNGC scorecard and any additional temporary rules on display in the starters box on the day of the competition.
Only Gross Scores for each player are required at each hole. Player Points and Yellow Ball Points can be recorded but are not necessary. Cards should be signed by 2 members of your team on completion of your round.
